CILICIA, Seleucia ad Calycadnum. Gordian III. AD 238-244. Æ (34mm, 19.97 g, 6h). Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust right; c/m’s: ΔO monogram within triangular incuse and K within incuse / Tyche seated left holding cornucopia in left hand, right hand set on top of stele inscribed CVN/TЄΛ or CVN/TЄA. SNG France 1024 var. (stele inscribed ΕΛΕ/VΘE/PAC; same obv. die as 1019-20 ); SNG Levante 772 var. (same); SNG von Aulock 5841 var. (same); Ziegler 488 corr. (stele not properly described; same dies); for c/m’s: Howgego 670 and 618. VF, dark green, almost black, patina.
